Cleartech are one of the UK's leading independent Water Treatment & HVAC Commissioning companies. As well as developing a key role within the business, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to review and improve internal processes for the end to end delivery to our clients. This is a 12 month placement based in Glasgow.

Job Description

Cleartech are looking to develop a graduate into an internal role within the organisation.

Opportunities to acquire and develop project management skills, as well as marketing tendering and commercial experience will be given in the first year.

This in house training will be given with an aim of concentrating on one core skill which they enjoy and making the graduate ready for work within the company. The will support and strengthen the business in respect of its processes, management team and all round service delivery.

Reporting to the Group Managing Director the graduate will spend time in each of the departments to get a solid understanding of all of our areas of work, market sectors and processes.  The graduate will also be asked to attend project sites and attend client meetings.

Tasks will include:

·         Project Management

·         Planning & Project Preparation

·         Liaising with site teams, clients & sub-contractors

·         Project reviews

·         Logging variations

·         Technical writing and O&M Manual Coordination

·         Implementing key business changes.

·         Commercial, Tendering & Marketing

·         Assisting in bid management and estimating with responsibility to follow quotes from start to finish, and aid in tendering and pricing

·         Preparation of PQQ/Tender Submissions

·         Ensuring proposals are aligned with corporate brand guidelines and standards

·         Ability to draw off Public Sector tendering and PQQ requirements

·         Research new clients and key areas to ensure our unique selling points are identified and incorporate into PQQ tenders and submissions

·         Gathering of internal data to include in proposals (Health & Safety, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, HR and IT)

·         Insure PQQs/Tenders are submitted consistently ahead of deadlines

·         Thinking laterally and contribute ideas for developing submissions to the Company's commercial advantage.

Skills / Experience

·         Strong team working skills to work collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and other internal staff

·         Excellent planning and organising skills with keen eye for detail

·         Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, site teams, suppliers and sub-contractors

·         Knowledge and/or experience of Microsoft office (particularly Excel)

·         Punctual and good timekeeping skills

·         An ability to work quickly and accurately with excellent attention to details to agreed deadlines

·         Driving Licence for site visits (vehicle can be provided by company).

Qualifications

·         A minimum degree in Building Services Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
