Graduate Account Manager - Sales and Marketing

Our client designs, manufactures and markets its own unique range of fabrics for the worldwide contracts interiors market. We are widely experienced in meeting the exacting demands of clients such as luxury hotels, healthcare organisations and cruise lines.
We now need a Graduate SALES EXECUTIVE TRAINEE
Initially, you will obtain technical knowledge and skills of the business during 20 months based at our head office in Dewsbury, Yorkshire before managing a sales territory to meet annual targets.
The training period will consist of the following:
12 months Sales training
3 month in Design and Marketing
3 months in Estimating and Measuring
3 months shadowing a Sales Executive
Your key responsibilities will include
Achieve sales/financial/marketing objectives
Develop new and maintain customer relationships
Negotiate sales, discounts, and pricing policies
Convert enquiries to orders, cross sell products and services.
Demonstrate a sound understanding of estimating
Attend exhibitions; be involved with marketing campaigns, telesales, mill visits.
You will need a degree in business or related subject and have commercial acumen. Listening and communication skills are essential, as are commitment, eagerness, self-motivation and a competitive spirit.
Work experience in sales would be desirable.
You should have a clear focus for career development û these positions are the first stages of a structured career path.
You must have a full driving license and be willing to locate to the sales territory on completion of training (20 months). This territory is likely to be in the Midlands or the South of England.
