Where do you come in?

You will begin your career at Discovery Graduates as a Trainee Graduate Account Manager. This role will give you the grounding needed to become a successful professional in our industry. 

Your initial role will be focused on supporting the Divisional Sales Manager and Account Development Executive through proactive resourcing and by working closely with the team to deliver on accounts.  This role will involve: proactively searching for top graduate talent; responding to job applications; conducting telephone interviews; organising and participating in assessment centres; analysing the success of campaigns and suggesting proactive new solutions; spotting opportunities for the business; and supporting the sales team to maximise effectiveness.

As part of a structured appraisal system you shall be offered regular opportunities for development, feedback, and possible progression into a permanent role.

What do you need to demonstrate?

This is a varied role requiring dedication, commitment and the ambition to develop into a successful professional. We are looking for individuals with a good academic record, who can demonstrate the achievement of personal goals. 

You will be a clear and effective communicator who has the ability to make a strong impression on both clients and candidates alike. You will have the ability to both listen effectively and to ask intelligent questions.

You will be a highly organised and effective individual who shows a commitment to achieving work goals while focusing on our customers’ needs. You will be able to think on your feet and adapt to changing circumstances.
