Job Summary

Managed Response Marketing Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic business graduate to join our account management team. You will be responsible for managing some of our most important customers, including Bacardi, Carlsberg, Majestic Wine and L'Oreal. As a member of a small and dynamic team you will be able to make an impact from day one. This is a 12 month placement, with potential for a permanent role thereafter, based in Alloa, Clackmannanshire.

Account Executive Role

As well as working on a business critical project you will also be responsible for the management of several customer accounts. As the first point or contact for our customers you will be the face and voice of our business and will play a front line role in achieving our sales plan.

You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills in order to manage multiple clients and orders. You will also need to be assertive in negotiations and adept at solving problems.

We work with a broad range of clients including Bacardi, Carlsberg, Majestic Wine and L'Oreal. As a member of a small and dynamic team you will be able to make an impact from day one.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Take customer orders via email, telephone and our website and create work orders for our design and production teams
  • Accountable for managing all projects through the production process from briefing creative work through to the completed product within project deadlines
  • Have a detailed working knowledge of how our websites operate so that you can assist any of our clients with any issues relating to the use of our websites
  • Build up relationships with clients to encourage repeat custom and solve problems without creating conflict.

Business Improvement Project

As part of your 12 month placement, you will be tasked with improving our customer ordering process. Our current system is paper based and requires significant manual data inputting and results in duplicated effort, human errors and dramatically slows down our workflow.

This project will require you to gain an understanding of our current process and use your fresh perspective and business logic to re-design our process. You will then be responsible for implementing the process and reporting the results.

Skills/Experience

  • Experience or interest in web development, graphic design, digital or B2B marketing
  • Ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Applicants must be IT savvy and comfortable using internet and email.

    Qualifications

Minimum undergraduate Degree, preferably in a Business related subject (i.e. Marketing, Management or Finance)

    • Graduates will benefit from a personal development plan which will include training courses and on the job coaching
    • We are located 5 minutes from Alloa train station and car pooling opportunities are available for those travelling from Glasgow, Stirling and Dundee
    • Based on the success of the placement, there is the potential for conversion to a full time role.
