Funding Manager / Funding Co-ordinator / Charity fund coordinator

Permanent – 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Our client is a charitable organisation and a subsidiary of a well-known housing association. They are currently recruiting for a Tower Community Fund Development Co-ordinator to support the Tower Beneficiary communities within the north of the Cynon valley within South Wales. This role will seek to establish legacy building projects designed to enhance the neighbourhood’s needs, expectations, and aspirations whilst also ensuring that all applications made to the Tower Fund meet the restrictive covenants required for charitable purposes and beneficiaries and that all applications to the fund are open and transparent.
You will seek to maximise equality and equity of access to the Tower Fund for potential beneficiaries and will capitalize on matched funding opportunities.
You will be responsible for ensuring the governance surrounding all Tower Fund applications meet Board requirements. In addition you will develop effective community engagement and empowerment arrangements that place tenants, residents and neighbourhoods at the heart of the Tower Fund application process thereby ensuring that there is effective participation and consultation, and that projects are fit for purpose and broadly supported.
Through maximising publicity and developing our clients charity brand you will create a strong pro forma for dual branding and partnership projects for the Tower fund for the future. The role will also involve establishing projected cash flows in and out of the Tower Fund and ensuring that all matched funding grant applications criteria are met
The successful candidate will be educated to A-Level standard in English and Maths. You will have an understanding of housing development and community regeneration and community funding. You will possess strong communication skills and will have the ability to communicate with people at all levels, and with the communities and 3rd sector organisations.
A full driving licence is essential for this post.
