Commercial Analysts required for Graduate Procurement Scheme with immediate start working for the world’s largest bakery supplier.

We are looking to develop a Commercial Graduate into our Procurement Department at our UK Head Office in the Wirral. Commutable from Liverpool our offices are our key production and commercial facility liasing with the whole of the UK and across Europe.

We are looking for an analytical Commercial Graduate to work as a Procurement Analyst.

You shall be given responsibility quickly at Bakemark and you will be encouraged to develop and grow. You should demonstrate career focus and ambition to be successful here.

Your role is to support and provide accountability to the Procurement Department in the UK.

You shall be given the opportunity to develop business strategy using your analytical skills. You shall be commercially aware and will look to streamline the process.

You shall be looking at company/department targets and budgets, and providing advice and reports on potential improvements.

The analyst role will involve manipulation of data using advanced Excel skills and in-house Software tools.

You shall be involved in research and development of new areas of business. This will involve research of the bakery market, looking at new trends and innovations, sampling/testing products, and ultimately presenting proposals of your ideas to the marketing/sales team for new lines.

You shall be involved in meeting preparations and attending meetings across Europe. For this you will need to be able to communicate with confidence to a variety of people at all levels of the business.

Training and development is key to Bakemark.

You shall be invested in throughout your career here. You shall be sponsored to study for your CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply) Accreditation. There are opportunities to develop through a variety of chains in the business from Procurement to Sales & Marketing, Finance to Production.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to be an Analytical/Financial Graduate with a strong Commercial focus.

We are looking for 2.1 Graduates from a Numerical/Business background. You must have used Excel to an advanced standard.

We want team players who can lead and influence through articulate communication.

Excellent written and communication skills.

You should be able to demonstrate achievement in your personal and academic life. We want to see tenacity and personality.

European languages (German, Spanish or French) would be advantageous, but not essential. However, a focus on International business is a must.
