Salary £18,000 to £20,000 + Benefits including 25 rising to 27 annual days holiday 8 statutory holidays (9 in 2011) Company sick pay,  Profit sharing scheme and Contributory Pension scheme

Astute financial decisions underpin everything they do. The finance function is responsible for millions of pounds and is vital in helping to meet the needs of the business and its customers. Reporting directly to the Finance Director you will learn about a range of costing and management accounting activities as well as receiving the necessary training to enable you to provide detailed financial input to aid key decision making processes as well as being a key link between the finance and commercial / operational functions.

 

It is expected that you hold a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in any subject, although maths, finance or business related subject would be preferred as you would be expected to demonstrate your ability in some financial technical areas, analysis and report writing. You will be expected to learn quickly through a combination of on- the-job training, off-site technical courses and the experience of your team.  You will be computer literate and have a high standard of verbal and written communication skills as well as good inductive reasoning. You will be a motivated self starter who is keen to seek out new opportunities for learning and progression.  You should be able to identify the goals of any project and take a structured, methodical approach to achieving them while identifying priorities and setting deadlines.
