This is a fantastic sales opportunity with a market leader within the lighting industry.
You will be responsible for the commercial development and growth of the company in the East Midlands region, based on a sales plan drawn up in collaboration with the Northern Sales Manager. The company are keen to appoint people who currently live in the postions region.
You will be working on the long term relationships with architects and electrical consulting engineers.
The opportunity is very consultative and requires you to provide the best possible tailored solution for your clients. In many cases you will have to educate and negotiate on the right solution as clients will not always know the best solution for them. As you grow in the role this will come more naturally to you as you become an expert in lighting.
The right attributes for a consultative sales approach is not the only abilities they require. This role requires people who have a keen eye for detail, very thorough and need to take care off accurate follow-up of projects.
Naturally this sales role will envolve a lot of networking and the need to work outside the normal working day will be key to your success. You represent the company and you will accompany potential clients during fairs and company visits.
