Eyecademy Ltd has a great opportunity for a graduate to deliver Business Intelligence (BI) consultancy to the UK market . The graduate will undergo training and job shadowing to become a certified Microstrategy consultant and then be able to install, configure and launch the Microstrategy BI platform. This is a 12 month placement with view to permanent hire, based in Glasgow.
Job Description
Due to expanding business, we need a graduate to work on clients projects. The graduate will receive training and will gradually take on more responsibility as they grow into the role. We expect that the graduate will then be able to deliver a successful installation & configuration of the Microstrategy platform for at least one client. Training will include on the job shadowing of experienced consultants and also taken through Microstrategy certification which consists of 5 Microstrategy exams with the graduate eventually becoming a certified Microstrategy consultant.
The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a team of consultants delivering Business Intelligence (BI) consultancy to the UK market. They will be required to travel to customer sites to deliver this consultancy. The consultancy will involve installation, configuration and launch of the Microstrategy BI platform.
Skills / Experience
Essential:
- Understanding of Database concepts
- Some experience or exposure to Oracle or MS Sql Server
- Basic knowledge of SQL or T-SQL or PL/SQL
Advantageous:
- Drivers licence (not essential)
Qualifications
- A Degree In Computing Science (or a related discipline)
