We are offering 3 individuals a unique and exciting opportunity to join a young sales team within a high growth, start up business. Unlike the conventional graduate position, you will be given exposure and responsibility in all areas of the business. We require entrepreneurial and energetic individuals to help take the company to the next level, in the process rapidly developing their own understanding of the business world and in time developing a team underneath them to support continued expansion. We have one UK position and two export sales roles available. We have established accounts in France but at present have no permanent development manager for the region. All French or Italian language speakers interested in sales are encouraged to apply as we have established strong business across the continent and are keen to put out efforts behind the right candidate.

Initially within this role you will be required to:

  • Maintain regular contact with our existing customer base to ensure their needs are being met and we are maximising the revenue from each account

  •  Develop new business within the key distribution sectors
  • Gain market knowledge to assist the development and introduction of new product lines
  • Provide invaluable market feedback to assist in the planning and strategic direction of the company
  •  Ensure accounts are adhering to the terms of sale we offer

The successful candidate will work closely with both the Sales Director and Marketing Director to develop a balanced approach to maintaining outstanding customer loyalty and market development. We offer an initial period of intensive product and sales training after which time we provide mentoring and guidance in the field. Extensive travel will be required to visit customers, trade shows suppliers and to attend company meetings. 

Personal Requirements

The key requirements to be successful in this position will be self-motivation, an appetite for market knowledge, excellent questioning and communication skills, adaptive and likeable personality, initiative, good negation skills, and a desire to progressively contribute to the business. Experience in sales and commercial acumen is an advantage but we are primarily concerned about the right type of character.
