ETL Factory has a great opportunity for a graduate programmer to work on an exciting disruptive technology from inception to the end of the product development lifecycle. This is a 12 month placement

Job Description

ETL Factory build software which automates a large proportion of the traditional software development lifecycle for Data Integration projects. We focus on visually stunning, simple user interfaces which removes all complexity from the process of designing and building complex data integration systems.

The project is to build a new software product from the ground up. The software will be enable users to visually interact with our proprietary Blueprinting Technology in order to codify any Data Integration pattern.

Working with the rest of the development team to setup new development processes, evaluating software design tools, packages and libraries, the candidate will also be highly involved in the prototyping of new user interfaces, playing back mock-ups to customers and facilitating show and tell sessions which feed back into the development process. You should be able to pick up new skills quickly and work without supervision on individual tasks.

Skills / Experience

Essential:

-          IT related degree with focus on programming

-          Keen programmer with familiarity of Microsoft programming frameworks and tools including some of the following: Blend, Expression Studio, C#, XAML, ASP, Javascript, jQuery

-          Knowledge of and/or Ability to use Photoshop or related tools.

Ideal:

-          Any skills in Data Integration technologies such as Informatica, DataStage or Abinitio.

Qualifications

-          Any IT-related degree - preferably with a focus on programming
