Electronics Design Engineer / Project Engineer

Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary up to £26,000 dependent upon experience

Our client has been designing, manufacturing Control Panels and Motor Control Centres since 1979. Their expertise is recognised throughout industry and many leading companies use their products.

This role within the company is an electrical project design engineering position, working within multi-disciplined engineering team.

Reporting to the Project Manager / Senior Engineer, the main purpose of this role is the electrical design of the projects. You will meet customer requirements within agreed timescales and acceptable cost parameters. You will work with customers and develop a good working relationship with them.

Role and Responsibilities:

Design of low voltage motor control panels.

Develop standard packages

Provide technical documentation

Provide support internally and externally

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Experience in control panel design and/or testing

PLC knowledge

Use of CAD. (Not essential as training will be given)

Minimum of HND/HNC or suitable experience.

This role would suit graduates who have some experience of working within a similar field and who are looking for a career within this sector.
