E-marketing is the application of digital and other technology to acquire and retain customers by improving customer knowledge, targeting, service delivery and satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to gain an understanding of all aspects of e-marketing. You will develop your knowledge of e-marketing tools and best practice and offer advice/guidance to internal customers across the business. Job responsibilities ò Support businesses to develop web site strategy and content ò Gain a thorough understanding of e-marketing tools and techniques and use this to support business strategy ò Source and manage content and the planning schedule for 3M UK and Customer Solution Sites ò Update and report on monthly metrics for 3M UK ò Work closely with the Customer Information Team and the Internet Response System to monitor performance and maintain standards of service ò Research best practice and industry benchmarks for dissemination to the business ò Ownership and Development of the Marketing Council Intranet ò Communicate the company marketing message to a wider audience via electronic communications. ò In addition to the core e-marketing communications responsibilities, the successful candidate will also spend some of their time supporting wider corporate activities to help broaden their experience and perspective. For example this could include supporting the brand building programme and the ongoing database marketing (CRM) programme.
