Distrify provides an internet based service enabling film makers and rights holders to self-distribute their films online. We are recruiting a Technical Account Manager to work with film distributors and sales agents and help them deliver libraries of films and videos for online distribution. 

The successful applicant will create and implement client management processes to reduce delivery times and strengthen relationships with clients. 

Role Description

This is a highly technical role and entails a large element of customer service.

The successful applicant will be required to:

  • Liaise with clients (film makers, distributors, other rights holders) and assist on all technical aspects of video file delivery
  • Maintain client relationships through our CRM system
  • Communicate with clients regularly on technical and business issues
  • Attend to clients’ needs and expectations.

Skills / Experience

Essential

  • Strong interest in the video/film industry
  • Knowledge/ Expertise in video capture and encoding for web and DVD
  • Final Cut Pro
  • Photoshop
  • Handbrake
  • MP EG Streamclip
  • FFMPEG
  • Excellent communication skills (Written and oral) attention to detail

Ideal

  • Experience liaising with clients

Qualifications

Essential

  • Any degree

Ideal

  • A relevant degree in Digital arts, engineering, or video/film
