Our client offers a range of kitchens and joinery products specifically designed to meet the needs of modern living.
They currently have a newly created exciting role for a Product Development Assistant to develop new products from concept to full production by following the company’s new product development procedures.
Within this role you will be accountable for performance managing ranges of high risk products, delivering products on time and to agreed timescales and improving product specifications performance. You will be expected to evaluate new products for the ranges, deliver planned product performance to agreed budgets and produce detailed designs and drawings which meet the specifications of the project brief. In addition, you will be responsible for the maintenance of our performance database and reports so all products perform to a new improved standard.
They are looking for an experienced individual who has previously worked in a Product Development role. Ideally you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will have an understanding of kitchen design or appliance providing companies. A hard worker, you must have the ability to follow instructions and use your initiative when needed. Effective communication and organisation skills are essential for this role along with basic PC skills.
