Huf UK, part of the Hülsbeck and Fürst Group develop and produce mechanical and electrical locksets for the automotive industry.  In short, we design and manufacture systems that lock, unlock and start your cars.

To support our exciting growth plans we are looking for a high calibre graduate to join the business in the role of Demand Analyst within Logistics

The Role

The main purpose of this role is to manage the demand from the customers. You will ensure the customer requirements are communicated effectively to all the relevant departments.

Working closely with manufacturing you will attend production planning meetings and be involved on all aspects of the project from receipt of order through to delivery of the end product.  This is a role that requires good organisational and communication skills and will involve a lot of client contact

You will be responsible for maintaining the data entry on the system – alerting relevant departments if there are schedule fluctuations i.e. the customer needs it sooner than originally planned.  In the event that there are any potential delivery issues you will work closely with the customer to ensure a smooth and satisfactory result is achieved.

The scope of this very interesting role will also see you working closely with sub contractors and packaging control.

You will spend time with clients and therefore fluency in German is essential as is your flexibility to travel abroad.

What we are looking for

Through your academic achievements you will have achieved a minimum of 2:2 degree classification in either Logistics, Supply chain or a Business related degree; you will also have good ‘A’ Levels (A’s and B’s) and Maths and English at GCSE.
