Customer Service Executive – Graduate Opportunity

The company now seeks to recruit several outstanding candidiates who are willing to learn the value of customer service as a basis from which to springboard their careers in areas such as field sales, marketing, management etc. The initial role will be in their head office, based in Stoke on Trent, working in the Customer Service Centre providing a service to primarily the car and truck tyre market.
They are currently looking for graduate trainees to join their team in the Customer Service Centre dedicated to the provision of quality support to internal and external customers.
As a member of the Customer Service team you will develop strong working relationships with key customers and account managers and act as main point of contact for External Customers within the relevant product line. The position includes capturing orders in their various formats, processing them and managing any subsequent changes. The customers range from large retailers to small independent firms.
You will be responsible for the monitoring and reporting of sales as well as receiving customer enquiries/queries and managing them through to resolution, liasing with all necessary parties (ie supply issues, complaints etc.). The customer service team is required to maintain all relevant systems with valid and accurate information. You will be involved in project work as and when required.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified, preferably a business related degree. We are looking for someone with a 2:1 or European equivalent. Ideally you will have commercial experience with an understanding of brand values and distribution channels. Computer literacy and a strong numerical ability are essential. You must have the potential and desire to develop within the company structure. An understanding of French is highly desirable.
The successful applicants will receive induction and product training enabling them to work in various areas of the Commercial Group.
