They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Field Support Representative to join their team based in Rugby. Within this role you would be expected to communicate with customers to understand their requirements, liaise with engineering for progress updates and ensure all parties are well informed of major changes.

Our Client is looking for either a trainee or accomplished sales executive to sell their services to OEM/MRO companies across the UK. Based in Rugby, the role also encompasses prospect-gathering, commercial negotiation and account management. It's challenging work and particularly suited to those with a strong interest in mechanical engineering or the aerospace industry.

 

The successful candidate would be of a Degree (or equivalent) level of education in engineering (mechanical/aeronautical) or scientific field, ideally you will have some previous sales experience but this is not essential. Due to the nature of this role a full UK Driving Licence is required. The ability to speak French would be an advantage. 

 

Role responsibilities:

The Customer Field Support Representative (CFSR) will have the following function within the perimeter of its territory:

  • Sell tooling and temporary fasteners product range
  • Support and market product range
  • Support customers on all subjects relative to assembly (choice of fasteners, assembly methods, …)
  • Listen and analyse customer needs for new products and services
  • Help success of new products development by coordinating customer and Clients contacts
  • Survey competition activity
  • Report to our Clients quality department any assembly problem to avoid or at least early solve any quality issue
  • Support any other kind of activity for which our Client would need input from the field (logistics, build rate, organization, assembly techniques…)
