Contracts analyst / Contracts manager /Commercial bid writer / Graduate

Salary £18,000 to £22,000 pa

 

Our client employs over 1400 people across 33 locations in 14 countries. It is a supplier to the aerospace and defence industries providing raw materials and material supply chain services.

 

They are currently looking for a contracts analyst to become an integral part of their contracts team, providing support and expertise in all areas of contract management.

 

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial awareness coupled with first rate customer service focus. You will be able to produce commercial bid documentation, quotations and participate in contract/price negotiations. Assisting both colleagues and clients, you will create regular demand forecast and consumption reports. You work alongside the current account manager with a view to developing your skills in building relationships within the industry. You will be capable of problem solving and working to improve business systems and processes. The successful candidate will be confident in presenting to colleagues and clients in a clear and concise manner.

 

Our ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in an engineering or technical discipline and be a proficient user of the Microsoft suite. Strong analytical skills are essential in this role as well as the ability to work well under pressure and the desire to learn and develop yourself. Project and contract management experience would be highly desirable, as is Industrial experience and knowledge of raw materials.
