SMi Group are London Based Conference Company that produces high quality events in Energy, Finance, Security and Defence, which enable organisations to exchange ideas, knowledge and experience through conferences.
As a Conference Producer within the Energy Sectors you will be in charge of your own conference from day one. You will have excellent research skills in a corporate environment. Your degree will have been in a sector relevant subject. You will be a confident, articulate and personable graduate who is looking for a challenging and exciting career in events and conference production.
You will have all the energy and confidence to multi-task and co-ordinate with clients and speakers on all levels. The role will involve desk and telephone research as you explore current issues and design conferences around these. You will then produce conference agendas and invite relevant speakers to the event.
The main responsibilities are: -
* Industry analysis: conducting desk research and telephone research
* Programme creation: structuring and writing strategic conference agendas
* Securing speakers: identifying and inviting leading industry executives
* Project management: working with and briefing internal teams and clients
This role is for 2:1 graduates from a Top 30 university ONLY. Applicants must either have corporate research experience or events experience outside of university.
