Castle MacLellan Foods Limited have an exciting opportunity for a graduate Technical Quality Assistant to help launch new products, create new systems, trial new products, prepare specifications and improve systems. This is a 12 month placement, with the potential for a permanent role thereafter, based in Kirkcudbright.

Castle MacLellan Foods have identified a need to recruit a Technical Quality Assistant to ensure the business meets its drive for continuous improvement within this department. As a key part of the team, you will be responsible for implementing new systems to control sourcing of new ingredients, controlling ingredient specifications and supplier approval.
Role Description
Castle MacLellan Foods are looking to strengthen their quality/technical team to meet the challenges of supplying all of the major multiples with their award winning pates and terrines; you will be practical, passionate and logical in your approach to problem solving and should possess a Food/Scientific related degree or relevant experience; key competencies: excellent communication, project management, team working and interpersonal skills.
