Job summary

Labels4Kids is looking for a Business Executive to help the Managing Director with the expansion of the international business and improve the current business. The role will require fluent German to help the expansion plans and knowledge of photoshop, film and media. This is a 12 month placement with view to permanent hire, based in Stirling.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a chance to contribute to a number of projects, the key responsibilities are the headings below:

Business Operations:

·         Assisting the MD with the expansion plans for the business

·         Liaising with the website developers and on-going development of the websites internationally

·         Printing, packing, customer services, taking payments and making refunds, ordering, supplier reconciliations of debtors and creditors, some accounting and budgeting and stock takes

·         The International Business Executive and Managing Director will allocate work on a project basis covering anything from franchise development to marketing and supporting the Administration Manager

·         Checking invoicing and helping with budgets

·         Candidate will potentially have line management responsibility

·         All staff are expected to muck in with day to day operations, as necessary in a small business context.

Social Media, Film and Websites:

·         Website optimisation of all Country sites but particularly Germany

·         Improve rankings in Search Engines

·         Updating the websites and database for the UK and foreign sites

·         Writing and loading blogs in German

·         Monitoring Google analytics and reporting on this for Germany

·         Use social media as a key marketing channel for Germany

·         Deliver brand awareness through Social Media campaigns in Germany

·         Help the MD with film and videoing for YouTube and website, and new photography of lifestyle imagery to keep the blogs and website up to date.

Skills / Experience

This role is suitable for an individual who enjoys the entrepreneurial nature of high growth businesses and is able to demonstrate the following:


·         Fluency in German language- A native German speaker or someone with fluent, up-to-date business language skills

·         Strong knowledge and active use of all Social Media marketing platforms

·         Ability to use Google analytics

·         Strong understanding and use of all aspects of business reporting, Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel

·         Ability to learn quickly on the job - new concepts, skills and techniques

·         Strong team-working skills and personable to fit in well with the rest of the employees whilst being able to manage them and get the best out of the team

·         Self-motivation - Ability to work individually under own initiative

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills, e.g. presentation and report writing

·         Forward thinking, commercially focused

·         Multi tasks projects - Ability to deliver multiple (sometimes detailed) pieces of work within the cost and time constraints, as there is a need to deal with high demand in orders taken online and going to production and packaging.


·         Fluency in any other European language

·         Knowledge of graphic design, INdesign and Photoshop

·         SEO experience

·         Knowledge of IT/Microsoft and Databases like Magento or other CMS systems



All degree disciplines will be considered if the candidate is able to demonstrate the skills listed:

·         Fluent business GERMAN or equivalent

·         A desire to work and grow longer term with a small family ran e-commerce business.


The candidate will ideally have any of the following degrees:

·         International business

·         IT

·         Film and media

·         Marketing.
