They Specialise in providing bespoke software solutions to all of their clients and as a result they have founded fantastic relationships with everyone they deal with which includes some of the biggest names in retail, IT and Telecommunications.
The Role - Business Development Executive
Upon commencement of this sales position you will spend a considerable amount of time out of the office attending meetings and growing business in regional areas. Whilst in your training period you will shadow a high performing salesperson where you will learn how to effectively sell business software. As your experience grows you will begin to run your own meetings and take on more responsibilities.
When you’re not on site or on training, you will be expected to be making phone calls to existing prospects to understand their requirements with a view to booking appointments, progressing the sale or closing deals.
You will work within a successful sales team which is in excess of 40 sales people so individual performance and working as part of a team are equally important. You will continually increase your knowledge of software and its specific selling points and will build up an extensive knowledge of case studies so that you can talk with authority and confidence about existing customers and how they have benefited from using the software.
You will learn the software as quickly as you can and this will be achieved by attending training courses as well spending your own time going through course notes and demonstration scripts.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following specific criteria:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in any discipline
- Full and valid drivers license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Ambition with plenty of drive and self motivation
- Eager to learn Passion for business
- Team player
No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
