Business Analysis sits within our Commercial section, which is responsible for managing the direct wholesale and network costs of the retail business. This is no small task, as these costs include all our wholesale power and gas purchases and all the costs that inevitably arise from transporting, transmitting and distributing power and gas to our customers.
Business Analysis graduates will take the lead on projects – such as assessing the impact on energy demand created by high prices and climate change. The energy industry is fundamental to the way in which climate change is handled. From technology through to service deliver, our graduates think about issues, impact and future strategy.
RWE npower has just opened two of the newest, most efficient and flexible gas-fired power stations in the UK, however, we still have to constantly consider the best commercial options for the plant.
We believe in giving our graduates real projects and real responsibility.
For example, you could be working in Commercial Risk Analysis, assessing our exposure to energy markets, or you could be helping to programme, analyse or adapt existing models to make them work better for us.
But what kind of impact can you make? That’s all down to you. Show us what you are made of and we’ll see you go far.
