Our client was established over 105 years ago with the intention of providing members with support and guidance on UK camping and caravanning and the sites they stay on. During this time, their services, not to mention their membership, have expanded to cover numerous other aspects.
They are currently recruiting for a proactive and hard working Accounts Assistant to provide financial support and information that works in conjunction with the efficient management of the club.

With an organised and methodical work ethic, you will provide all round support for the franchise business and assist the Management Accountant (Franchise and Sites) in all aspects of finance. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will produce regular franchise statements, budget and forecast information and prepare monthly management accounts. A key team player, you will be compiling management information reports, including assisting in budget preparation, so a keen eye for detail is essential.
Computer literate and a strong communicator, the successful candidate will need practical experience of all accounts ledgers and book keeping processes. With demonstrable experience gained within a finance department, you are likely to be AAT qualified, or ACCA/CIMA part qualified. First rate written and verbal communication skills are essential as is the ability to organise and prioritise work load effectively. Working knowledge of Great Plains software coupled with an awareness of data warehousing reporting would be an advantage.
Although qualifications are advantageous, extensive experience gained within this area would be equally desired.
