Job Description

With an experienced background in business and/or the food industry, your role will be to oversee the business’s production output. As the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the overall product quality and the effective running of the business’ production lines, working closely with team leaders. You will enjoy a wider scope of the business, delivering on key management metrics whilst working on a variety of projects.

Your responsibilities will also extend to improving performance and efficiencies, reducing costs where possible, dealing with suppliers and key customers, whilst liaising closely with the business commercial team. People management will be a core part of your role with the opportunity to support and assist the professional development of your team.

Melton Foods will support your professional development throughout your tenure, leading to new opportunities within the business including, but not limited to, progression towards Production Manager.

The Individual

Having completed a degree across any discipline within the last 5 years, you'll also have 1-3 years’ experience in a business or food-related environment. You will be a confident and commercially-minded business leader, comfortable dealing with multiple levels of stakeholder, whilst showing a clear desire for progression within the business.

Salary and Benefits
