They currently have an exciting opportunity for Allocator’s to join their Head Office in Burgess Hill. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants a career within Merchandising and the fashion industry. The main purpose of this role is to use ensure the swift and accurate transit of stock into stores observing sales patterns, trends and social factors. The role is absolutely key to the business in order to get stock into the right place, at the right time and in the right quantities.
Assisting the Merchandising team with general administrative duties to ensure forecasted targets are achieved, you will be required to manage any dispatch and distribution issues. The role will require you to use the company’s internal system to obtain all Stock information and to enable you to ensure sales are maximised at all times through stock distribution. You must run regular stock and sales reports and feed your findings back to the merchandising teams.
The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in the fashion industry coupled with the ability to understand and interpret mathematical and statistical data. It is important you are computer literate, especially when using Microsoft Excel and have the ability to communicate at all levels.
You need to have a Logical and analytical mind, enjoy working with numbers (Numerate), Organised, Able to work as part of a team and use their own initiative and be able to thrive working in a fast paced, lively and ever changing working environment.
An interest in retail and fashion could be of benefit. Fashion Graduates with an interest in statistics or Mathematics graduates with an interest in fashion but most importantly are the attributes listed above and a willingness to learn as full training is provided on the job.
