THE POSITION The position of Advertising Sales Executive involves promoting two business magazine publications and related products to companies targeting the UK on trade retail sector, with specific responsibility for the general classifies sections ò Development of the existing client base and spend to maximise advertising space sales ò Canvassing new prospects from rival media-based companies ò Ensure clients are developed sufficiently to ensure repeat business and sales revenue ò New business targets through external proactive calling of companies, liaising with sales managers and key-decision-makers ò Liaison with classified sales manager and advertising sales manager to ensure correct planning procedures ò Liaison with production teams to ensure smooth-running of the general classified sections NECESSARY EXPERIENCE ò Well-educated (to A-level standard) with exceptional communication skills ò Enthusiastic, confident, dynamic and competitive with a desire to overachieve ò A passion for media sales and advertising and a motivation for a career in sales ò Advertising sales experience desirable, but not essential THE REWARDS The position of Advertising Sales Executive attracts the following: ò Basic salary of ú16k ò Commission bonus of an additional ú2,500 per annum ò Full training and the opportunity to work for a fantastic organisation Should you feel you are qualifies for this position and wish to submit an application please send your CV in the first instance to: Simon Lewis at slewis@piranha-group.com or call 0870 6000 666
