ABP is established as the UK’s leading and biggest meat processing company with a turnover approaching £400million, and through continuing investment, recently £60m in new plants, technology, and equipment to satisfy the demands of the modern retailer has created excellent promotion opportunities for Graduates to move quickly into positions of responsibility with the commercial part of our business.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
ABP’s training programme will equip you with the business and management skills required to enhance your prospects for rapid career progression. We invest time and money in our graduates, as we believe they are the business leaders of the future.
Management trainees are exposed too many aspects of our business to ensure a long term development plan within your chosen field.
We currently have several dynamic and challenging opportunities within our commercial business function; this will mean hands on experience with our customers and working on key projects.
The scheme will give you exposure to three key roles within our business including
- Category Management – understanding the consumer trends and how this impacts on our clients and product offering
- Planning / Supply chain – the link between what are customers want and how we will deliver this.
- Account Management – Development of the customer accounts, identifying new sales opportunities and new product development opportunities.
