We have a first class reputation within the industry and offer a selection of challenging vacancies within fashion, non- fashion and throughout the UK.

Our Graduate recruitment Division is well known for placing several hundred graduates each year into their first job within retailing. Most of these are placed into retail head offices within Merchandising and Buying roles. Many of our past placements have progressed into senior management within the industry.

The entry level position for Merchandising is either an Allocator or an MAA. There is a very structured career progression to becoming a Merchandiser. A successful Allocator/MAA can expect to progress to a “Senior” title within 12-18 months. The goal is then to reach Assistant Merchandiser level, within 2-3 years of the entry role. To reach the ultimate goal of becoming a Merchandiser should take between 5-7 years, and then of course there is development beyond there!

As you move up this career ladder your responsibilities will change and increase, at Merchandiser level you can expect to manage budgets, plan ranges and forecast trends. You will have vital input to the weekly trade meetings!
