Training and Development

As a Graduate at PSA Peugeot Citroen, you will be offered extensive training and development opportunities to encourage you to develop the skills needed to excel in the modern business world. Depending on the function you join, you will either carry out a range of shorter placements in several different departments, or will be assigned to a longer-term project or placement. All successful Graduates take part in a varied Core Skills Training Scheme which has been specifically designed to maximise your learning opportunities and personal development. Through practical exercises, theoretical discussions and work-related projects, you will enhance your interpersonal, communication, presentation and time management skills. Learning doesn't stop when you leave university. In fact, it never stops. Our Assisted Development Programme enables employees to develop new skills or further a personal interest with the aim of continuing personal development. Employees can apply for financial support of up to £300 per year for courses that lead to a work-related qualification, and up to £100 per year for sports and general interest subjects. Courses range from Astronomy to Aromatherapy, Spanish to Sports Coaching and Cookery to Carpentry. PSA Peugeot Citroen also offer financial support to employees who wish to continue their professional development. Many of our Graduates have chosen to enrol at local universities to complete post-graduate qualifications in their chosen discipline. All functions have increasing contact with their colleagues in France. We will therefore provide French language tuition where required to enhance your language skills for future roles. You will also need to have good IT skills in order to perform your role effectively, and so we will provide extensive IT training in order to help you develop these.
