Headquartered in Aberdeen Coates Offshore is the trading name for the registered company Rentair Ltd. The company is a division of the Coates Hire Australia group with a history spanning over 125 years, originally founded by John Coates in 1885.

In 1999 the Coates Hire Group acquired Rentair, a specialist UK rental company with a history going back to post World War II, then known as Coventry Compressors.

We have since evolved, invested and transformed into a leading provider of equipment rental solutions for the offshore industry - Coates Offshore.

We constantly develop and invest in our people and our products to provide quality, added value solutions to our customers around the globe.
