Pan European Trainee Programme Canon's Pan European Trainee Programme (PETP) will develop young enthusiastic graduates to drive our business forward across Europe.
Trainees will be based in either London or Amsterdam, although there may be assignment opportunities in our National Sales Organisations across Europe.
The programme allows graduates to specialise within a function of our business. They will gain professional development within that function allowing them to develop into high potential Canon employees.
The programme is challenging but will reward with the opportunity to excel and grow in the company.
This year we will be recruiting into three different functions of CanonÆs business. Each one offers the opportunity of professional development combined with a unique learning experience
CCI (Canon Consumer Imaging)
CCI incorporates marketing strategies across Europe, involvement in the pricing, product launch and channel marketing issues for Canon Consumer Imaging.
CBS (Canon Business Solutions)
CBS trainees will work on strategies to establish Canon as the recognised number 1 world class provider of innovative print and document solutions.
Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to both the strategic and operational aspects of people management.
Training and Development
Alongside the development within their chosen function all trainees will take part in a general development programme. This will cover a range of business skills, teambuilding activities and a chance to network and socialise as a group.

How can I get selected?
Joining Canon's Pan European Trainee Programme (PETP) is not easy after all we are looking for true business talent. The total intake for this programme this year is just 7.
It is a therefore a very selective high potential programme. We deliberately keep the number of trainees low to ensure that enough resources are invested in each trainee.
The selection procedure varies depending on the profile but in general your first interview will be with Human Resources who will want to learn about you, your career aspirations and desire to join a particular function with Canon.
Selected candidates will be asked to do some psychometric tests online after which a selection will be put forward for an assessment day. This day will allow candidates to meet the line mangers from their chosen function, view the offices and learn more about Canon and the programme.
Offers will be made to the successful candidates shortly afterwards.
