Overview
The
Barnet Group is a local authority trading company created by Barnet Council in
February 2012.
The
Barnet Group is the parent company to:
- Barnet Homes –
the council’s arm’s length management organisation (ALMO). This manages
15,000 tenanted and leasehold properties on behalf of the council. It also
oversees housing allocations, housing advice and housing supply. Barnet
Homes completed its Decent Homes programme in April 2011.
- Your Choice Barnet –
this is another local authority trading company, created in February 2002,
providing day, community, residential and respite services to people with
a range of learning and physical disabilities.
