Asda was formed in 1965 from a group of Yorkshire farmers. Since then Asda has gone from strength to strength opening more stores across the UK. In 1999 Asda joined the Wal-Mart family, and within this time Asda has grown to Number two food retailer and Number one volume clothing retailer.

Training and Development
As part or out three-year structured development programme you will be given immediate responsibility, hands on training and development opportunities. By year five we aim to see you taking on your first senior management role.
Your development at Asda doesn't finish with the end of the graduate programme. There are many further opportunities for you to continue your career development, including the international leadership development programme. This offers the opportunity to visit Wal-Mart for 12 months to gain experience of working within the international Wal-Mart environment.
What we look for
The selection process comprises of three stages - Half day pre-selection, full day assessment centre and a final stage one-to-one interview.
The minimum requirements are 20 UCAS points for all schemes
2:2 degree for Retail Management and Logistics
2:1 degree for Buying, Finance and Information Systems
