Experience on the MEB
I chose the MEB programme at ESCP-EAP European School of Management because I wanted my academic trajectory to have a practical and international dimension. After an Erasmus experience in Spain, I got the taste for studying abroad so chose to study the MEB, a programme that would complement by previous studies and broaden my professional experience.
ESCP-EAP offers a superb combination of the values that I had been looking for: diversity, an international mindset and hands-on experience. The MEB reinforces them by offering students the possibility to choose two out of the five campuses in five different European countries or partner institutions in India, Thailand, and Mexico.
The learning experience proved to be totally different from the one I was used to and very special in the same time - working in groups with students coming from all over the world and having cultural and professional backgrounds as diverse as their nationality proved extremely rewarding. The programme was taught by dedicated professors and provided a comprehensive education enriched with case studies forming true pieces of the business reality.
Company consultancy projects are built in to the programme, every semester bringing us a new challenge from a real company. During my first semester in Turin, I learnt how to tackle complex situations and built the foundation of a managerial approach after completing a very intense Problem-Solving and Decision-Making week.
In London, we all got even closer to the corporate world, as we started the “internship hunting” process with the objective of breaking into real-life business experience.
The academic programme was very demanding and forced me into adding multitasking to my profile. On the other hand, group work sessions made it all easy and fun since we all had different ways of approaching the task.
I have no doubts that studying on the MEB turned me into a better candidate from a professional point of view and a better person with rich cultural knowledge and experience. Furthermore, I was lucky enough to qualify for a scholarship. I am currently completing my internship in marketing and looking forward to a successful international career.
