Our client provides a great opportunity to gain experience in all areas of their industry from buying, quality, packaging, production, sales, and marketing. The goal is for you to become a key member of their commercial team and, in the future, manage key customers in the UK and Europe.

The two most important things a graduate can do in this industry is to ask questions and get hands-on experience. You will be given the chance to gain experience which will help you to prepare for a successful career in a dynamic industry. It is essential that you understand the business and the industry before you begin dealing with customers.

You will have a desire to learn and you will be able to adapt your skills to new challenges and new environments.

After the rotations you will move into a more specific commercial role where you will take on real responsibility. You will begin managing smaller accounts while supporting the senior team with larger customers.

We require a strong level of numeracy and analytical thinking but you will also be strong at:
-Problem solving
-Influencing and negotiating
-Relationship building
-Communication

A degree in business, agriculture or food is beneficial, but not essential.

Due to the locations of our client's sites and the regular meetings involved in the position it is important that you have a driving licence or assess to alternative transport.
