Overview

DialogueDirect are the largest face-to-face charity fundraising company in the UK. Our aim is to inspire members of the public into becoming long term charity donors, and we are present in high streets across the UK. Our current charity partners include British Red Cross, Shelter, Mencap and World Vision.

Career Opportunities

We are currently recruiting for two positions, both offering good performance-related pay on top of a basic wage.

• Option 1

Roaming Fundraising

This is DialogueDirect’s largest fundraising initiative. Teams of five work UK-wide in major town and city centres. Roaming Fundraisers ordinarily spend one week in a cluster of towns before moving to a new location. Holiday-standard accommodation and transport are provided. After an initial 5 week commitment, Fundraisers are free to devise their own flexible work schedule.

Pay starts at £224.70 per week but with performance-related bonuses most Fundraisers regularly take home over £300, with the very best earning three times as much.

• Option 2

Residential Street Fundraising

DialogueDirect’s Residential Teams are London- based. Fundraisers live in and around the capital and travel to work within the M25 area, Monday to Friday (Saturdays are optional), 10am to 6pm. As is the case with Roaming, after an initial 5 week commitment, Fundraisers are free to devise their own flexible work schedule.

Pay starts at £7.50 per hour, but with performance-related bonuses most Fundraisers earn between £10 and £12.50 per hour.

We employ from within and many of our current managers began their career in the company as Fundraisers. Our Fundraisers often progress to other careers within the charity sector.

Training and Development

The opportunities for career progression with DialogueDirect are excellent – many of our current management began their career in the company as Fundraisers. Ongoing training in fundraising techniques is provided, and there is regular contact with our charity partners.

What we look for

We don’t require any specific qualifications or experience. We are looking for people who have a strong interest in charities and have good communication skills. Fundraisers need to have a good work ethic, be self motivated and able to work as part of a team.
