Pricewaterhouse-Coopers have launched a new “Inspired Talent” graduate recruitment scheme designed to assess candidates by more than just their academic qualifications. This has sparked new debate as this scheme will invite applications from graduates who achieved a 2.2 degree-level qualification, when traditionally only those who achieved a 2.1 or 1st class degree would have been considered for a scheme at PwC.
We know that a lot of small to medium sized companies already adopt a similar approach but we want to hear what you think.
Does this make the recruitment process fairer or just create more work for recruiters?
Will it ultimately produce employees who are more productive or a better fit in your company?
