• Is university the right option?

    According to a survey of 16,000 final year students completed by High Fliers Research, one in six students would have reconsidered going to university if they had known how difficult it would be to secure a job once they graduated. 


    Do you think that this government should continue to aim for 50% of people to go to university or should they be encouraging people to follow different routes which may enable them to find employment more easily?


    Does the problem lie with universities giving students unrealistic expectations of their employment prospects after graduating?

  • How do you target the graduates you want in your business?

    Competition for high-end graduate talent is fiercer than ever. There is a possibility that job-hunters graduating with strong degrees especially those in mathematical, scientific and engineering-based subjects will be attracted to the high starting packages that jobs in investment banking are able to offer. 

    Other companies looking to recruit these top graduates will have to find other ways to attract them, as competing with the high starting packages will not be an option to most.
